Designed in collaboration with NASA Ames, D•ICE offers a light-weight and power-efficient solution to atmospheric in-flight icing. For operators, D•ICE significantly increases operational capability and greatly reduce operational costs.
D•ICE is available as an embedded custom component in a manufacturing process
and as a retrofit solution for existing unmanned aircraft.

The D•ICE technology was initially developed for the unmanned aircraft industry, where the aircraft airframe, external sensory systems, and external propulsion surfaces (e.g. propellers and engine inlets) are all exposed to in-flight atmospheric icing.
However, the modular design architecture enables for a solution that is easily transferrable and scalable. D•ICE can be applied in a multitude of industries providing great value by ensuring safe optimal operations.
