D•ICE™ is an intelligent ice detection and protection solution, designed to enhance weather robustness for drones, air taxis, and helicopters enabling operations, every day, worldwide.
OUR PRODUCT MODULES
D•ICE™ Sensing is a stand-alone sensor package that allows for safe operations despite potential icing conditions. It provides an early warning system and the protective solution for the airspeed sensor that will enable an aircraft to escape icing conditions and, if necessary, safely return to the ground.
D•ICE™ Propeller is an added module to Sensing. With it, a propeller-driven aircraft will be able to perform sustained operations in potential icing conditions and escape those conditions if deemed too severe.
The D•ICE™ Airframe is an optional module that can be added to the Sensing. The addition will enable a fixed-wing aircraft to perform sustained operations in potential icing conditions and escape icing conditions if deemed too severe.
D•ICE™ Shield protects temperature-vulnerable internal aircraft elements. Shield is a module that bridges the operational temperature gap from -20 to -40 degrees C and enables extreme cold weather operations.
D•ICE™ Planning is a software plugin providing optimized route planning. By exploiting wind patterns and potential atmospheric icing conditions, Planning optimizes speed, prolongs flight time, lowers power consumption, and increases safety.
